The boys officially finished clinic so we all went and celebrated!!! We are so blessed to have made such wonderful friends here in Omaha! We had two weeks left and the emotions were already kickin in!
After some celebrating, we went and grabbed our moving truck to start the whole moving process. We chose to move a week early to our new home in Albuquerque so we could be settled when Marc starts work on the 18th.
While Braxton was at school we started packing the truck and millie and jordan sure wanted to help. Haha
Already to drive 14 hours to Albuquerque!
Me and the boys in the Pilot....
Millie and her dad in the Penske...she thought she was so big and definitely got spoiled in there! Chocolate in one hand while watching 101 Dalmations...livin the life!
After 14 hours of driving through NE, KS, OK, and NM we arrived to see our house for the first time!! We sure like to be adventurous with getting things site unseen but so far 3 out of 3 we have been lucky! We didn't waste a single minute when we pulled up. First thing millie did was walk in and and yell, "there's TWO BATHROOMS!!" Haha steppin it up I guess. We were able to unload our truck in 1 1/2 hours with just the two of us and our crazy kids haha I called and asked for help from the church and told them a time but By the time 5:00 rolled around we only needed help from the Elders Quorum for the last piece of furniture! We only had two days to get things somewhat settled so we got to work! Our kitchen got put together...
Millies "princess" room was put together
And the boys room! Still bare but we'll slowly get it all decorated?
Living room...after a whole day of searching for a set of couches we finally found some at the last store haha
Amidst all the unpacking and lack of sleep we were able to make it to our new Ward and we are so excited to be in the ward we are! The people are so nice but it was very strange not having all our dental friends or having students on our Ward in general, we are in real life now and it's weird!!! It just happened to be Mother's Day and we didn't have any food so we decided to go to Olive Garden to celebrate. So grateful to be a mom!
We frantically got all we could done and decorated to make sure we came home to a somewhat put together home after graduation. Then, we woke up early and got back in the car to drive another 14 hours back to Omaha! We love driving! Haha
