Who I got a picture with!!! Elder Nielson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles! Yeah...The one who just spoke on Sunday and gave a wonderful talk!
We met Mike and Megan up at City Creek to walk around and check it out. Low and behold and Apostle walks by Marc (who is outside H&M where all men are ha) and he comes in and tells me and Megan to hurry, knowing I would kill him if he didn't tell me that he was outside. He said he walked by and that we should just go get a look. Well, thanks to my daring sister in law, we got more than a look, we got pictures with him! He and his wife were so sweet to let us get pictures. I am sure he has people always asking for that and of course he wouldn't say no. I am so grateful I got to see and get a picture with him! I think I need to make City Creek a weekly thing and maybe get a sighting of the prophet! ha
P.S. I have been so unlucky with the whole meeting apostles thing. I have missed seeing Elder Bednar he came to our ward right before we moved up here and I missed having Elder Oaks right in my Relief Society by a few hours traveling back home from Christmas! I think it was time to have a little luck. haha ;)
Yay for City Creek! I am going to miss Salt Lake City!
