Christmas Tree Adventures and More!

As usual we (meaning me) couldn't wait for December first and went and got a tree Pre-Thanksgiving! When your students you need to enjoy Christmas before the actual Christmasbreak. So thankfully Homedepot always pulls through and has trees early and for cheap! We were going to be leaving December 11th so we didn't need a monster...so our little 4-5 ft tree would be the perfect fit! Getting a cheap tree means very sharp needles...Marc holding it by his nails is proof! Millie picked the perfect tree the first time! It was a 10 minute tree pick up!
Only problem...with such a small tree we couldn't risk scratching our car so we decided to try and make it fit with all the kids in the car. Haha It fit and no one lost an eye! Millie was so excited!
You know you bought an EXTRA sharp tree when not one of your children would touch it or help decorate. Millie tried to hang one ornament and was done. Jordan, the one I was worried about not leaving the tree alone touched it and cried!! Tip for future tree: get the sharpest one and it will stay intact!
Marc and Braxton sleeping by the light of the tree...perfect!!!
To continue the festivities we went to Bass pro and met Santa!! I was nervous that all of my kids would freak out this year but NONE of them did! Millie in fact nestled right on up and told Santa exactly what she wanted. The Bass Pro Santa was awesome this year and was very good with Braxton..
We did the free craft afterward and met some great people who asked about Braxton and gave us some information to be helpful that has helped them with their special needs daughter. It just proves that there are good people out there who truly care and understand.
Millie fell in love with our Little People nativity set and played with it constantly!
We wrote our letters to Santa and everyone wanted to be involved!! Firsts!
Since jordan and Braxton couldnt tell me what they want I had Millie tell me for them to put it in kids terms. I wrote word for word and they were so cute!
Christmas time with kids is magical!!!
We got all the letters packed up and sent them off to the North Pole!!
