I love having Braxton and Marc's Birthdays only a 5 days apart! A lot of planning but it's so much fun to celebrate!
This year, we wanted to simplify...Marc and I have different definitions of that word but I felt like it was a perfect amount of celebrating. ;)
Braxton's Party was a lot of fun. We kept it low key but that didn't mean I didn't have to give up my favorite part about parties...the decorating and creating a fun and memorable birthday. In less than 10 Dollars I was able to make Braxton's BMX themed party come to life.
sweetest 3 year old around! He was happy waking up to his "Birthday oatmeal" |
I think themes for parties would be a lot easier if Braxton could tell me what he wanted. Usually three year old kids will tell you what they want...Braxton we have to be creative. So, we decided to make the theme centered around the big present he was getting for his birthday this year...A sweet Harro balance bike. I think Marc had some fun with this too because this is what he grew up doing.
The cake...Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate cake ;) |
Mommy and the Birthday boy |
Millie provided her brother with an arm rest...such a good sister |
The moment we were all waiting for... |
We brought the bike out and weren't expecting a great reaction but it was still fun! Millie now rides that thing around the house so we are hoping that he will see her having fun on it and will eventually want to try it too. ;)
Braxton the Stud! Happy Birthday Buddy! |
Marc's Party was definitely what he wanted...no presents (yeah right)! I would never give into Marc's weird non-celebratory wishes that he comes up with on his birthday. I know it's his day but I will not tolerate a party pooper! ;) 29 is not thirty and it is NOT OLD! So we celebrated and had some fun!!!
I had to make sure that everyone saw how cute my husband was and is so I posted this on FB haha The whole day Millie would point at them and say Millie! haha It's so funny how much they really do look alike.
Love these gems! |
After all of the fun celebrating and cake prior to Marc's actual day...all he wanted for his birthday "cake" was my chocolate chip cookies with ice cream on top. haha I was a little reluctant but I allowed him this one wish ;) It actually was the perfect way to end the night. Happy Birthday Marc!
YOU ARE STILL IN YOUR PRIME BABE! Love you!
