HOGLE ZOO

When we moved up to SLC I was trying to think of things that Brax and I would be able to do while Marc was in school. So, I was thinking that we should get a zoo pass so that I could take him as much as I wanted! It is a mile up our street so I decided that we needed to get one. The first time we went, Megan and Melissa, along with their husbands and kids, came up and we went to Hogle Zoo. It was fun! With our pass we were able to get another adult and kid in free! DEAL! haha It was a blast though! I had never been to a zoo before so this "small" zoo was perfect! I was told that the zoo was really just farm animals (Becky my SIL told me this as a joke...I really was worried that that's all it was going to be) but I was pleasantly surprised!

I LOVED LOVED the Giraffes!

Braxton liked the Giraffes too! Actually, he didn't really even notice the animals, just dads arm moving up and down. haha

He LOVED the train ride. ha

His favorite exhibit was his stroller, where he slept most of the time. haha

Braxton and I with the monkeys. Little Micah loved these monkeys! The best comment of the day was when he saw one of the monkeys with its hands on the other monkey's head and Micah as sweet and perfect minded as could be says, "Look! That monkey is giving the other one a blessing!" haha That really was the best thing ever! Melissa, you are teaching them right!! :) Even though Braxton didn't really know or care what was going on, it was so fun to watch Halie, Micah and Ruthie recognize and just love the animals!

It was so fun to have everyone come up and go to the zoo! I will keep bringing Braxton here so if anyone wants to come up...free ticket! haha
