Adventures in Month 8

Braxton's 8th month FLEW by! It's crazy that he is almost One! I can't think about it though or it makes me sad...so I will focus on what he did while 8 months old. :)

while 8 months old Braxton...

Got both of his front teeth (Pic below) He might just smile like this...we will need to work on it. haha It looks so cute with his two little buck teeth

He also started to get his 5th tooth!

started to like his jumpy...10 min at a time but he is starting to realize that it's pretty fun. When he can actually touch the ground he can start jumping!

learned to do push ups...

Found that any hanging toy is his favorite...we hung this on his car seat and he can stay in there for a while if we let him. ha

started liking our rod iron bed. I will lay him on our bed and he looks at it and starts laughing. haha He likes the most random things.

wanted to start being more independent and started grabbing and holding his bottle. He is up to a few minutes at a time (as long as he doesn't find his hand and let go)

Rolled over and did push ups...can't quite roll himself back over.
Learned that big cups in his face kinda scare him...we have a cup for his bath too and he is so scared of it. haha

Still loved to laugh...Nice Grill son!

Loved to look at trees (only from underneath)

Started liking glasses...Stylin! He really liked them! He wouldn't take them off!

Still liked the move where we move our hand up and down in front of his face and laughs histarically!

Other things Braxton did during month 8...

continue to love his lay down toy

made it to 14 lbs (FINALLY)

got a double ear infection :( So much for tubes!

still was in 2 diapers

would eat food every once in a while (about three tablespoons)

learned how to say he wants me to pick him up...grunts over and over. haha

Braxton is doing very good! He is learning and growing! He is so much fun!

Side note: in our ward we have two babies that were born a few days after Brax and it is amazing to see what an 8 month old should be able to do! It's hard to think that Brax is behind when we are with him all day and see what wonderful things he is accomplishing but when we put him next to kids his age who are waving, crawling, saying mama and dada, clapping, sitting, playing with toys and all that good stuff, it kind of puts things into perspective (milestone wise). Marc and I just sit back and kind of laugh. Braxton is just too much fun and really, we are lucky to have him where he is! He has learned so much and has surpassed kids like him. I love that we get to have him smaller for a little longer! We are so proud to be his parents! We Love you Braxton! :)
