Christmas 2014

After a week and a half of fun with cousins, nana, papa, and aunts and uncles, we were sure ready for Marc to join the fun! We missed him so much and are lucky he didn't miss our first trip on the North Pole Express!
Millie couldn't be more excited and had talked for weeks about going on the train to see Santa!
First time our family was all together (minus Brace and Kyler) since Amamda came home! It was so fun to do this all together! So grateful to grandma and grandpa for making it happen!
Braxton and Jordan had lots of fun just hangin with everyone. Millie and RYLEE were so giddy and excited! Mrs. Clause Chocolate Chip Cookies were delicious and so was the hot chocolate! It was such a fun atmosphere you couldn't help but smile and be grateful for such an amazing fam! We sang songs, ate treats, told jokes, visited and danced! The "elves" kept grabbing Millie to come and dance with them and she danced her little heart out it was too cute! Chef Cookie wanted to hold Braxton and give him a hug. It was such an awesome experience!
After the train we ate lunch, did some shopping and all met back at Temple Square to see the lights! I had been looking forward to that since it had been three years prior that we were there with only Braxton and me pregnant with Millie.
We got there and it was absolute CHAOS!! I have never seen so many people in my life at temple square and it made me nervous only having an umbrella stroller, with my three little kids and it being so cold! We managed to get a couple of pictures and to navigate through all the peeps but for a while there I almost had to leave. Haha

SISTERS!!!! Don't we look alike? ;)
Amidst all the crowds, we happened to run into my really good friend who lived by us in Omaha. She moved in May but it was so fun to see her and her cute kids again! After our long and exhausting Temple Square festivities we all met up at Olive Garden and had a late dinner. That was so yummy and fun!
We got back to our condo later that night and all fell right to sleep! The next day I woke up feeling so sick but we managed to all make it to church in Wolf Creek which was much needed. We relaxed the rest of the day and enjoyed family time and celebrating Treys first birthday!
On our way home the next day we met up with Micah, Whitney and Baby Nixon to FINALLY meet Nixon and have Jordan and him together at last!!! It was fun but so quick...thankfully we would be seeing them in less than a week!
We got to my parents house and got settled. I was getting more and more sick and the next day Braxton would start the never ending chain of stomach bugs! I had a chest cold and fever but after Braxton threw up 7 times I got it but thankfully didn't get as sick and then after that it just tickled through everyone except Ang's family and Jason's. Lucky ducks!!
Thankfully when Christmas Eve rolled around we would all be feeling pretty good and could all get dressed and sit down to a meal with the fam, share our testimonies, have a nativity program and open up PJS!!! It was a fun night and the kids did an awesome job telling the story of our Saviors birth ;)

RYLEE was the Angel, Rush a Shepard, Trey was a wiseman,Millie was Mary, Braxton was Joseph and Jordan was a giant baby Jesus who would not sit still. Haha
Family Jam pictures are the best!

All the cousins in their matching warm Jammie's getting Ready for Santa to bring them gifts the next Morning!
So peaceful....
The next morning our plan of waking up when the kids did was changed by a certain someone who woke up the whole house at 6! We were all dead tired so then we had to wake up Millie, Braxton and Jordan (who were all cranky because of it) and open presents. It wasn't ideal but it worked out ok. They all got what they asked for so they must have been good! ;) Millie was thrilled about everything! Braxton loved his light up and mirror toys and Jordan loved the ball and wrapping paper! Perfect Christmas...now time for nap! ;)

I failed to mention we woke up to a beautiful white Christmas with 6+ inches of snow...so what do you do? GO SLEDDING! Marc helped build a big sledding hillin the back yard and the party began!

The little girls were thrilled and I even got to go a couple times!! So MUCH fun!!!!

Go Marc Go! It was a very fun and eventful Christmas at the Johnson side this year and we couldn't be more grateful for all that my parents did to make it so special!! Thanks everyone! Until next year...
