Cali Baby

On our way to Cali we were so excited to one: see everyone two: be in one place for over a week and three: to relax! We did just that!! Marc (unfortunately) had to do an externship for a week but we still managed to have fun whenever he got a little break :) After, some major traffic driving there, we finally got to go see Grandma and Grandpa! Jordan finally met his Grandma and he just adored her! 4 months is too long to not see your grandma for the first time!

First time meeting Grandma McRae

In cali, we don't waste a minute! Every thing is a fun adventure! We went and fed the ducks, fish, and even the turtles in the pond by Ruth and Rande's house. I love that everything is in walking distance where they live. It's so much fun and nice to go for walks in great weather!

Everyone watching the huge turtles come up for some food
We were so excited to go to Grandma's pool! Millie finally got over her fear of water with a tube and arm floats and after a few hours was kicking around all by herself. It was so much fun!
Of course after Marc's last day of his externship we went to thrifty's and got some ice cream! Let's be honest...we had a lot of ice cream ;) we love thriftys
And it wouldn't be a trip to Cali without going to the beach! Since Marc was gone, Ruth and I braved a whole week of taking the three kids to a lot of fun places but the best was the beach, the beach is always a little interesting with the sand and the heat and the possible drowning part but, we did it! The kids had a blast (Millie) and it was fun making some memories with Grandma. The waves and the currents were intense that week so I was on edge because Millie and Brax could easily be taken out just within a few feet of the sand.

I don't know how, but Millie just LOVED rolling in the sand and throwing
it in her hair. haha Gotta love it!

Millie thought it was so much fun to put our foot prints in the sand

We are crazy but I'm so glad we went!!!
On our way home from the beach to avoid traffic we went to Grandma Rosell's house. It was so neat to be with her and see her. She is just the most amazing lady and has created such a legacy! She is the definition of a Christ Like woman! It was so hard to see her in the state that she is but of course she was still able to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with Millie and loved having Braxton giver her "hugs" she is so gracious and doesn't complain. We love Grandma Rosell!
Millie loved feeding Fred
We had pizza and Salad with Aunt Debbie and Shelby and cousin Sydney! It was so fun to catch up and see family.
Braxton saying hi to Great Grandma
Millie was in heaven getting to help Grandpa water the flowers, Grandma make cupcakes, do puzzles, make crafts, and have "parties" (lunchables). To this day she still talks about all of the fun things she got to do at Grandma and "Grande's" house.

Ruth, thank you for letting me go shopping for three hours by myself!! It was definitely needed and so greatly appreciated! They loved being with grandma!

Going to throw pennies in the fountain...TOOTSIE!!

Listening to the band play after dinner. so happy
California never disappoints and we sure had so much fun...Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa!!!
