We have had a fun and interesting week.
Braxton has been progressing so fast and it is so fun to see how curious he is, how motivated he is to move and to study (in detail) every toy.
haha His new fascination is the Laptop. He loves to help me email people and to look up baby stuff. He even found a way to make all of my font smaller (I don't know how to change it back)...he is so smart!

This past week he had to get another hearing test done which meant he had to be put to sleep and that he would have to starve all morning. :( The night before his test I think he knew what he was up against because at 7 he was out. I tried everything to wake the little guy up and as you can see...even the bath didn't work!
haha
Even though he was so hungry the nurses provided him with so many toys in his crib that he was completely distracted (at least for an hour). It was really funny though to think back on his previous tests and how immobile he was...this time he was crawling around the crib and looking at everything he could get his hands on. I am so proud! :)

He LOVED this ball because he could get his little chubby fingers through it and even see through it. (Don't tell him but I think
Santa is bringing him one ;)

This was after he woke up...he wanted that bottle and would not put it down. He drank 6 oz in 10 min! He only drinks 4 oz at a time so that shows just how hungry he was. It was sad though because the blood pressure cuff was too big for his arm and so he could barely use that arm to hold his bottle. ha

Another thing that has become an everyday
occurrence is playing under his jumper. It started out as just a little place to play for a couple min but now that is his place. We call it his "fort" and he just absolutely loves it! He puts all of his toys under there. He tries to sit up but always hits his head. He has learned though that his mouth is a great way to hold a toy and also play with another one at the same time. We just laugh at how cute his problem solving skills are.

Here is his stash of toys under his jumper. I have given up on cleaning it because he plays with them and pulls them back under if I do.

The BEST part of the week though was getting to decorate for Christmas! I was so excited to get our tree and put actual ornaments on it this year. Last year we had a homemade
Christmas because of our situation with
Braxton which was fun...don't get me wrong...but I sure do love matching ornaments and a theme.
haha If you like decorating a little early like me and want a tree before Thanksgiving...Home Depot is the place to go! :)
Braxton did not pay attention to the tree at all! He was so enthralled with his basketball.

I had to literally sit him in front of the tree and put the branch in his hand for him to see it was there. He actually like playing with it for a little while.

While I was decorating the tree
Braxton just watched and ate...He sure looks comfy! I wanted to switch him spots. I get hungry just as often being
prego and all.
hahaWe had so much fun decorating the tree and setting up all of the decorations around the house. I just love this time of year and I can't wait for Thanksgiving and then CHRISTMAS!
Yay! I can't wait to visit family and most of all we get to spend some one on one time with Marc since he has a break! By Christmas Marc will get his cast off and
Braxton can't wait! They can actually play together. I know
Braxton misses rough play with his dad! So much to look forward too. I just have to remember to not wish my time away! You only get to enjoy the season once a year! Merry Christmas...oh and Happy Thanksgiving! :)
