Major Growth in Month 9

I cannot believe that Braxton is now TEN MONTHS OLD!!! I am so excited because that means only two more months until his birthday...which means, PARTY PLANNING! haha I am so excited to plan his party and just do what regular moms get to do! :) But until then, we will enjoy every moment of him growing and learning! His ninth month was so eventful! He learned so much and most of it happened on its own! All of sudden stuff just started clicking. Compared to kids his age he is pretty far behind still, but I am so proud of what he has accomplished! When I look at him and think back to where he was and where he is now, it's night and day!! :) I just feel that we are so lucky becuase he isn't growing up too fast. We get to soak up every moment!

During his ninth month, Braxton:

Learned to grab his feet! He can almost bring them up to his mouth!!

Decided to get up on all fours one day and start rocking back and forth! He isn't sitting yet, but crawling works for me ;) He likes to bury his head in the ground and bite his burp cloth. It's just like a puppy! haha

Loved his sunglasses on (inside). Literally wouldn't take them off! He doesn't quite recognize himself in the mirror, but he likes looking at "whoever that is"

Learned that he was going to be a big brother to a sister!! He is so excited ;)

Played with dad on his breaks...he likes to pretend like he is walking haha

Got stuck in the most random places...This one was under the couch. His favorite is under the coffee table. He just kinda scoots backwards until he gets stuck somewhere. haha

Started holding his bottle...he is up to about 80 percent of the time holding it himself!

Tried to eat like a big boy...He doesn't like those little Gerber treats. So I eat them! ha They are good!

The past week he just decided to start eating a half a jar of baby food (either sweet potatoes or bananas so far nothing else) at night

Had a lot of fun in his pack and play...he actually only sleeps on his stomach during the night! AHHH a little scary cuz he will sometimes sleep face DOWN!!

Went on his first four wheeler ride with dad! Didn't realize what was going on but he will get there knowing Marc. :)

Played with his cousins... Here he is with Brock. Brock was almost bigger than him, I am sure he is now! Brock is so cute!!

Braxton and Rush went to the Zoo together! Rush is so cute with him! He loves to poke his eyes cuz he knows where eyes are! haha He is going to be such a good big brother!

He a Ruthie also played a few times! Ruthie is always good with him she even feeds him his bottle (she will shake the bottle, like she is making it, take the lid off, put it in his mouth for two seconds, and takes it away! It is hilarious! She is so so so darling!)

A few more things he learned to do (no pics):

Bite! Not on purpose but I he has almost drawn blood a few times haha

Whine/grunt when Marc or I leave the room

Communicate different grunts to get what he wants. The best one is his "I want to be picked up" grunt

Help mom with the dishes. He loves to sit in his bumbo at the side of the sink and watch me do dishes. He will now throw things in the sink (not on purpose but it's hilarious)

Make mom melt...he will look up at me and kind of whine cuz he wants to be picked up! I love it but I end up not getting much done. haha

So so so much was accomplished during his ninth month! I am sure I am forgetting something but really, he just was doing so much! Month ten has a lot of promise!!! I love you buddy boy!!
