You Would Think I Went to Hawaii!

For the LONGEST time I have been wanting to go on an overnighter with Marc and Brax. Just a little getaway to break up the day to day and also get in as much before Marc starts school in August. The only problem of trying to make this work is was not having extra money to go and have some fun! Well...my prayers were answered! Ruth and Rande had a hotel down in Vegas at the Encore and for one night they wouldn't be using it. They asked all the kids if anyone wanted it and basically I jumped at the opportunity! (literally jumped for joy) I was overwhelmed with excitement and really you would think I had just won a trip to Hawaii! Marc leaned over and said, "If this is all it takes to get you excited about a vacation we can go on a vacation all the time!" I wouldn't go that far...I do want to go to a tropical island one day but it works until Marc finishes school. haha

Right when we got there we hopped right into our swimsuits and headed to the pool! It was Braxton's first time at the pool so I was so excited and a little nervous about how it would go.
HE LOVED IT!!!!

After the pool we went to Olive Garden (Thanks to Ruth's early anniversary gift) and brought it back and watched the Heat and Dallas play...Let's just say it was a GREAT night cuz Dallas won!

The next morning we went straight to the pool and once again...He was so happy to be in the water! I think he thought it was huge bathtub. haha I didn't think this would be the case because right when we got there he got bit by a bug (i don't know what kind. Not poisonous!) He freaked out for like twenty min! I felt so bad!

After playing so hard in the pool, he fell right to sleep! IN THE WATER! haha

It's kind of hard to see but he got bit right on the forehead. It left a little welt! :(

It was the best overnighter ever! I loved every minute of it! Braxton loved it too! I am just so GRATEFUL for the room and for everything! We had a B.L.A.S.T! Thanks Ruth and Rande!
