Christmas Part One

Another amazing Christmas season has come and gone and once again we are left with some of the greatest memories! We are so blessed that we get to see both of our families over the Christmas Break. To keep this post from being a mile long I broke it down into two parts...so much happened in 2 1/2 weeks and I need to document it! This year we chose to drive home one: plane ticket prices two: we actually enjoy driving three: I could pack what I wanted! haha
An hour into our drive...Millie was in high spirits

Braxton I don't think cried once! He would snooze with his blanket over his head ha
Of course we didn't do the 20 hour drive in one day so we stopped at Ang and Braces' house where we had a lot of fun catching up and letting the kids play! They sure did miss each other! We went to dinner and had some fun opening a couple of gifts...unfortunately it was a very quick stop cuz we had a 10 hour drive the next day and had to get to cedar. We woke up early the next day and headed straight to Jason and Aubri's to see our sweet new nephew Treyson! He was only 5 days old and I was so grateful that I got to see him so new! We then went straight to cedar where the kids wound up straight into grandma's arms and were spoiled rotten. ;)

It was the McRae's turn to have Christmas together so we came down the week before and stayed with Grandma, Papa and Markus. We got a lot of time together and we got to relax. Markus and Grandma were still in school so we made a couple stops at their school...We watched uncle Markus play in his intrmurals game (last year in Middle school!!! Ahh) Millie LOVED it and kept wanting to run on the court. Markus is such a good uncle and took the time to snag a picture with Millie. She loved Markus and would call him barkus haha
During the week we did a lot of last minute shopping, playing and just lounging and chatting (one of my favorite things to do...especially prego ha) Grandma baby sat and let Marc and I go on a date since our anniversary basically. haha It truly was so much fun and much needed! We got to chow down on Lupitas...our favorite! and then went to catching fire...literally the ONLY movie we saw in 2013! haha Last movie we saw was Christmas 2012 with my family! ha too funny. But really it was so great to have the kids be with family! We also planned for the arrival of Ang and her family and because of schedules we didnt see them until Saturday but we made the most of our time together!

We had a delicious early christmas dinner and then opened our gifts from Grandma and Papa. If you can't tell the girls LOVED every second! They got a lot of cute girlie gifts and each got a baby! They were in heaven! I will admitt too that us adults got spoiled as well. Thanks Mom and dad for all the fun gifts and for being so amazing!

Braxton was thrilled about his toys...especially his worm mirror!
We loved spending a whole week with my side of the family (at least some of them) and are grateful for everything that my family did for us! We are so lucky to have such great families and support systems! Now on to part two 40 minutes south in St. George.
