Saying goodbye to my sis was one of the hardest things! It was just the thought of not being able to chat with her whenever I wanted but she is going to be such a great missionary!!! Hong Kong is going to be a better place with her there (I am biased). After saying good bye I went and stayed with Megan and mike and their cute kids!
Side note: It was so good to see everyone. Driving that far makes you want to not waste a second! We were lucky to see Melissa, Jeff and their darling kids and Matt and Becky when we were in st George too! Matt and Becky gave me a break and watched the kids too for a little while so that was nice! :)
When we were at Megan's we had so much fun catching up, eating del taco and cake bites from sweet toothfairy! it almost felt like I lived up north again! I was so exhausted and Megan FORCED me to get a good night sleep and I am so grateful that she did cuz we had a long trek ahead.
When we said our goodbyes my hilarious niece Ruthie yelled as we were pulling out... "Don't forget me!" Haha we could never forget her or any of our fun cousins!!
We were back on the road and got to Laramie that afternoon. It was so nice to be able to stop by Ang's to break up the trip! We had a lot of fun hanging with cousins and Millie LOVED chasing rush around the house. Ha Ang had to work the next morning which stunk but it forced me to face the 8 hr stretch of road early! We were definitely missing Marc and I just wanted to speed home (did a couple times) ha. 8 hrs later and my kids rushed into the house and Millie squealed when they saw their dad! Great trip, but definitely a great reunion when we got home!
I can't wait to make that trip in July ;) ha so grateful to my dad for making that trip happen and so grateful I got to see almost everyone of the people we love most! Sorry to those we didn't see.
