All Hallow's Eve Festivities

Halloween was celebrated for almost a whole week at our house. I felt by the time we got to the actual day of Halloween we were pretty much done celebrating...by we I mean Marc and the kids. haha This year the kids were Lakers peeps. Millie was a Lakers cheerleader (never attempting a costume like that again) and Braxton was none other than the Kobster himself. The first of our festivities started at Marc's school! That was seriously the most fun of the events. We got to go hang out with dad for a little while, eat lunch at McDonalds and trick or treat the halls of Creighton. We saw all of his classes and all the singles girls in his class loved Millie and Brax! It was funny to hear all the comments about being Lakers fans (especially from the Utah fans)! Back off people! Don't hate cuz they are one of the best teams haha ;)
Braxton didn't know where we were going  but he was sure excited!
Millie...not so much. She was tired! But she still looks pretty!
Later that night we had our Ward Halloween party! That was seriously one of the best parties! Cookie Monster was there and oh boy was Braxton excited to see a GIANT, BLUE, FURRY MAN telling everyone to vote for Romney! haha That was great.

Braxton was definitely everywhere at that party. He kept going to the center of the gym floor where the circle is and would get all excited! And then cookie monster came and it was over...he just had to go hang out with him.
Millie sat there like a good girl and just observed. She smiled at everyone and got a lot of compliments. haha
The night before Halloween we had to carve pumpkins and this is where the real fun began (not so much) haha. It literally took us 2 1/2 hours to carve those not so great looking pumpkins because kids were crying and hungry! I might wait on pumpkins until the kids really want to help carve them themselves.
Halloween night was definitely low key because the kids were not having it. Braxton cried for about an hour and by the time he was done we had a few trick or treaters! We handed out candy, had some friends over and ate yummy: soup, rolls, hot chocolate, and sugar cookies. Let's just say we had an overdose on sugar that night for sure!
Millie was excited and was trying to go trick or treating all by herself and then there was Brax. He needed his dad for sure to calm him down. Poor guy. I think he was just mad he couldn't eat the candy that everyone else was eating! ha Loved Halloween this year. Chill and fun! Until next year Haunting Season! :)
