Phase One:
Our Valentine's Day was extended this year! Marc had a pretty rough school schedule with a test everyday this week so we decided to go out to dinner last weekend (hoping there wouldn't be any waiting). Well, lets just say it turned out to be pretty funny because our first thought was Olive Garden (my fav) and when we got there it was an hour long wait for just the three of us! So, we had to move on and the only place that sounded good besides that was breakfast! haha I absolutely LOVE breakfast. We didn't want to travel 20 minutes to the nearest IHOP so I remembered Village Inn. The last time I went there was for a basketball tournament in high school and it was so good. Marc had never been there so we decided to go. . . we pull up and the parking lot had 3 cars in it. That automatically shot up red flags for Marc. He was a little skeptical and the three cars belonged to none other than old people. haha I felt so bad but I told him that it really was good so after a good laugh and being the youngest couple in the resteraunt we got one of the best meals for 15 bucks (including a piece of cheese cake)! :)
Braxton's second time in the high chair...he did good. He is just like his dad though! He was a little skeptical too. (notice that there are no people in the back ground ha)
Marc approves! haha I don't know how soon we will be going back. ;)
Phase 2:
Since we went out over the weekend I decided to plan a chill at home celebration. All we needed was a little pepsi and peanut M&Ms, a little present for Millie and Brax (yeah I really thought Millie would be here to help celebrate...she might be a little stubborn ha) and a heart shaped pizza for dinner! It was perfect! :)
Braxton and dad playing! Marc's homemade card on the wall. haha
All I wanted was a walk, hoping that my water would break, and foot rub for my huge swollen feet...We went for a walk around our complex and low and behold we found a herd of deer on our hillside! haha They were just all laying down. There were about 20 and there was even a 4 point buck! Too bad it wasn't hunting season. ;) After our walk we had brownies and ice cream, got into our pjs and I got Breaking Dawn from the Red Box. Before you judge, I already saw the movie in the theaters but Marc never got to see it. So, I got it and I was able to laugh (without getting horrible looks) with Marc at all the corny scenes, so basically the whole movie.
Braxton was exhausted after all the celebrating and went to bed at 9:30! That was huge! Marc studied and I just lounged on the couch watching the silly movie! It was great. Just a simple chill Valentines. Hope everyone had a great one!
Now that Valentine's Day is over...Millie can come!!! Now please! :)
