~Ward Christmas Party~

Last night we went to our ward Christmas party and it was so much fun! We really are so lucky to be in the ward that we are. It's like we are back in our first married student ward just with a million more kids. haha

This year the ward went all out and we went up Millcreek Canyon to Camp Tracy (I had never heard of it) but it was so neat! It was this huge lodge and perfect to have a PARTY! When we got there we just were mingling, we were not even close to being the first ones and we still got roped in to being Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus for the Nativity. They came up to us and said that the Mary and Joseph cancelled this year and so of course I can't say no. Let's just say that it wasn't biblically correct...Mary and Joseph did not have a 13 month old Jesus (who really did look 5 or 6 months old so I guess Brax could pass haha) and another one on the way. haha It was fun because all of the Primary kids got involved and to be honest it wasn't the greatest rendition of the Nativity but it sure was a funny one! haha I was actually thinking I should have been Santa Claus with how big my belly is! Before we left I had to get a family pic to remember how much fun we had...Braxton was even smiling!

Braxton also had his first encounter with Santa Claus. He almost ripped his beard off! The little girl his age went right before him and she started bawling immediately...not Brax he really doesn't mind going to other people, especially if they have a long beard to tug. :) He kept trying to get the jingle bells that the Bishop had jingling out of the shot. He is cracks me up!

I am so glad we got to go to the party! It was good to go and get festive with the ward. It was nice that Marc was able to take a little break from studying...FINALS NEXT WEEK and then CHRISTMAS BREAK baby! Can't wait!!! :)
