Happy Birthday Marc!

This past Friday we celebrated Marc's Birthday! He turned 27 on 11/11/11! We went down to Megan's and went out to Olive Garden where Melissa, Jeff and the whole fam came up for the weekend. :) It worked out really good that we got to have some family around to celebrate with us. After dinner we came back to Megan's. We all got to sing to Marc and he blew out his candle! haha He isn't into celebrating his birthday all over the top so it was fun to have a little bit of fun! We had a DQ cake because my homemade cake failed! :( I was so happy to make Marc his Birthday cake (which is kind of my favorite part of his whole day because I love to bake) this year but being prego has it's disadvantages for sure and this is the first time I can truly blame a problem on prenancy...memory loss! That morning I woke up and made him his birthday breakfast and got started. It took about two hours and once I put the first layer in the oven I realized that I had forgotten TWO major ingredients! Sugar! and Milk! I am such an idiot! I had a complete melt down bawling and was so sad that I wouldn't get to give Marc his cake that I worked so hard on (plus I wasted two hours of my day)! We laughed about it a few hours later but it was very devastating there for an hour or so. haha So DQ it was and I think I might be getting that every year now! I forgot how good those things were and Marc agreed! haYou may notice the "little" cast on Marc's arm. Well the week before Marc started intramural basketball and 6 min before the game ended he BROKE HIS LEFT INDEX FINGER! You kind of need that for Dental school! haha He came home and said he had dislocated it and put it back in but after two days of it getting more swollen and black and blue I talked him into going to the Urgent Care place for an x-ray. 20 min in the Doc. office and walks out with a splint on it! We just laughed because it is so fitting seeming as his schooling and profession he will kind of need his fingers. haha After the weekend we went to the doctor and the nurse got cast happy and put a whole arm cast on. Now everyone comes up to him and asks him how he broke his arm. haha Happy Happy!

The two boys got to play with each other too! They had fun playing with their own little basketball and soccer ball. A lady at dinner asked if they were twins...we said no and she said, "oh they just must be close in age". Sorry lady these two are 6 months apart and we wish he was as big as Brock! haha I think Braxton was jealous that Brock has the basketball because in every picture he is looking at the ball! haha

We had so much fun! Thanks Megan for letting us celebrate at your house! It was such a fun night and even though I botched the cake it still was perfect! Hope you had a great one babe! Braxton, unborn Millie and I love you! :)
