Our First Visit to Cedar...Alone!

Marc had his first test a couple of days ago and while he was preparing for it he "suggested" that Braxton and I take a little trip down south to good ol' C Town. So...we did! It was so much fun to see the family! We had so much fun! It is always good to go and see everyone. The sad part is is that time FLEW by and we didn't get to do all that we had planned! Next trip for sure ;) Marc sure missed Brax though...of course he missed me haha but once you have kids, you sure MISS your kids the most. Hence, all these pics are not very good because I was always taking them on my phone to send to Marc. ha

Here is just a quick wrap up of our trip (no order don't have time)...

Braxton go to sit in a high chair that actually fit his little body! haha He loved it! This high chair actually was Markus' back in the day.
Ang and I decided to take the kids up to Kid's Pond for a little picnic. Braxton slept...

and slept...
and slept...

and even putting him back into the carseat, still slept! haha I was a little sad that he didn't get to enjoy it as much as little Rush. Oh well. It was so pretty up there though! We were the only ones until these crazy guys (Elyse this one is for you if you read this. One of those guys was your brother Tanner haha) were trying to put a ramp up to drive something into the pond ha The things you do when you live in a small town. But we didn't stick around long enough to see the end result. I thought we would be taking one of them to the hospital if we waited.

When we first got to Cedar, I thought Rush would be really shy around me and Brax because he hasn't seen us in a while but there was no time for that. He got right to givin Brax kisses and hugs. He just loved Brax. It was good practice for him with his sister comin in a week or so. :)

He was also trying to teach Braxton how to use his dog toy. Braxton didn't really care about the toy though...he was too buys looking at the fan! We don't have one of those at our house so that was probably the highlight of the trip for him. haha

We still had baths but he loved to splash around in the "big" bath

I was SOOO glad I brought his little jumper toy. This thing is honestly his FAVORITE thing in the world and even though it was a pain to pack into the car. It was totally worth the trouble. Brax or I wouldn't have survived the trip without it.

We went to the park where Brax stayed in his stroller because there was no shade over by the toys. When I took this picture Braxton looked like a toddler! It is definitely the angle because he doesn't even look close to being this big. haha

We had so much fun! I was very sad when it ended so soon but we were so happy to get back to our house and see Marc! It was the cutest thing ever when Braxton saw Marc for the first time. It took him literally two seconds to figure out who he was looking at and then THE BIGGEST MOST PRECIOUS smile came on his face and he was SOOO EXCITED to see Marc. It was like Christmas day for Braxton and Marc. They sure missed each other. I think Braxton got sick of hanging out with the girls all day. haha Thanks mom and dad for letting us stay! We had a blast! :)
